If I choose a 2-week Chinese course in Kunming + 1-week tour, how is it organized? Course before, trip afterwards?

You can design your own Chinese language course + Tour program. For example, you can do a 2-week course and then a 1-week tour, or you can do 1-week course, and then 1-week travel, and then 1-week course, and then 1-week travel (still 2 weeks of course + 2 weeks of travel). You can do the combination at your preference.

For the Chinese language course, you can choose to study for 4 hours/day or 6 hours/day of intensive one-on-one Chinese immersion classes from 1 week to 52 weeks. For the tours in China, you can choose multiple tour packages. You can decide when to take the tours during the program.

Is it learning Mandarin while touring or is it one week learning and then touring after?

The Chinese language course + Tour program is a program that combines the intensive one-on-one Chinese course with trips, but you are not taking them together. You can choose to study Chinese in Kunming or at other locations with 4 or 6 hours per day of Chinese lessons, then you can take a 1-week tour after the Chinese language program finishes. The Chinese lessons and the tours are separate, but you can decide when to take the tour. For example, if a student takes a Chinese language course for 8 weeks + 1-week tour, he/she can decide when to take the tour. For example, he/she can take the tour after 4 weeks of Chinese lessons, then take another 4 weeks of lessons after the tour, or he/she can take the 1-week tour after 8 weeks of one-on-one Chinese lessons.

We offer multiple 1-week tour packages, so you can also choose to do multiple tours if you to travel to all these places.

I don’t know when to take the tour, does Keats have some suggestions?

If you are a short-term student who studies less than 4 weeks, you can take the 1-week tour after you finish your one-on-one Chinese lessons in Kunming or at other locations. In this way, you can practice what you have learned in the classroom during the trip because you will be accompanied by a Keats Chinese teacher during the trip.

If you are a long-term student who studies for more than 4 weeks, we can arrange the tours during the middle of your Chinese program. Now you can have a break from your Chinese lessons by taking wonderful tours in China. The tours will make you refreshed and re-energized and get you ready for your second part of Chinese lessons. Here is a sample schedule:

Chinese lessons for 10 weeks –> Tour for 1 week –> Chinese lessons for another 10 weeks –> Tour for another week

Are the meals included?

The 3 meals a day  are offered Monday to Friday when you take Chinese classes at Keats Kunming Campus.

The price includes breakfast when you travel. The price does not include lunch or dinner when you travel because you will have many options to choose from.

I really enjoy coming here because it is like kind of a home for me. It is a great environment to learn Mandarin Chinese in China and meet great people from all over the world. Everyone here is extremely friendly. Kunming has a really nice climate. It is a very good mix of the modern city and also a lot of historic Chinese culture. Probably got the cleanest air in China and possibly the cleanest water too. I invite you to come to study Chinese in Kunming.

Steve | UK - HSK Test Preparation Course

The place is very cool. I am with a great group of people in my class, so coming to classes is very enjoyable. It is fun, and we have a lot of discussions, games, and activities. Our teachers are also very good, very supportive. Learning Chinese is intimidating at the start because you have so many questions. But I would advise coming to Keats because the atmosphere for learning is great. It is very relaxing. I would recommend the school.

I found Keats to be very good, the teachers are excellent and really take the students seriously. Kunming is the best place to learn Mandarin in China. The environment is awesome, no pollution. The air quality is great, good weather. The people here are very friendly. I come to take classes every day. I feel comfortable studying Chinese at Keats. I learned so many things, although I only studied at Keats for 2 months. I am really satisfied with my teacher. For us foreigners, Keats is the best Chinese school in China. Therefore, I would highly recommend Keats to all of you.

Vanya | BULGARIA -

My school is amazing. I recommend Keats because it is a more convenient way to learn Chinese in Kunming.

Viktor | Switzerland -

Our teachers are very helpful. They are amazing teachers. They helped us with our grammar, to get our sentence structure right. We asked a lot of questions. We did a lot of practical topics. My favorite topics were daily life, like when you go to a restaurant, what you can order.

Ansie | South Africa - Small Group Chinese Class

Why I study Chinese? It is the most spoken language in the world. One of my favorite methods of learning Chinese is to create sentences with new words. Kunming is great. I highly recommend this school.

Corne | South Africa - Small Group Chinese Class

Before I came to Keats, I had no confidence in my Chinese proficiency. I did not have the confidence to speak Mandarin Chinese and chat with Chinese people. However, after 4 months of study at Keats, I become more and more confident in speaking Chinese now. Studying Chinese in China at Keats has been the best decision I have ever made. There are many games in the class, and my teacher’s teaching methods are also very interesting. My experience at Keats has changed my view of China and Chinese people.

Filbert | Indonesia -

I think Kunming is a great city, the weather is really good. I really like Keats and found it is very organized. The teachers here are very good. They have a coffee shop and new classrooms, a new lounge area here now, so you can chill out with your friends and practice your spoken Chinese with natives. If you’re considering coming to Keats to study, I would really recommend it. It’s the best place to learn Mandarin and I think it will be a great experience for you.
