How to get to Jingmai Tea Mountain?
The most convenient way to reach Jingmai Tea Mountain is generally to fly to Kunming and then take the high-speed train to Pu’er. The train journey takes approximately 3.5 hours and costs about RMB 250. We will pick you up at the Pu’er train station and it takes 2 hours drive from the Pu’er station to Jingmai Tea Mountain.
Or you can take a flight to Lancang Airport, which requires another 2-hour from the airport to Jingmai Tea Mountain.

Jingmai Tea Mountain, located in Pu’er City, Yunnan Province, China, is renowned for its ancient tea forests. These forests boast some of the oldest cultivated tea trees in the world, some over a thousand years old. The area is primarily inhabited by the Blang and Dai ethnic minorities, who have cultivated tea there for generations. Jingmai’s unique terroir, including its high elevation and fertile soil, contributes to the distinct flavor profile of its tea, characterized by its sweetness and smooth texture. Jingmai Tea Mountain is a significant origin of Pu-erh tea, a highly prized fermented tea.
