Lijiang is located in northwestern Yunnan, about 310 miles northwest of Kunming, the provincial capital. You can choose from several transportation options in Lijiang, including Sanyi International Airport, a high-speed train station, and a coach station.
The most convenient way to reach Lijiang is generally to fly to Kunming and then take the high-speed train. The train journey takes approximately three hours and costs about RMB 220.
